Navajo Rugs
Creating traditional homespun Navajo tapestries, rugs and blankets is very time consuming. Tapestries, rugs, and blankets created in the traditional way can take hundreds of hours to make starting from Navajo Nation raised sheep, sheered wool, washed, air dried and dyed with colors from locally grown plants to the weaving. While handspun wool is still used today, the trend is towards weavings using commercial wool.
Navajo tapestries, rugs and blankets are known the world over for their quality and beauty and command considerable prices by well known Navajo weavers.

NavajoCrafts offers only Authentic native American weavings.

The Two Gray Hills rugs are masterpieces of weaving and design using native wool in natural colors of white, black, brown, tan and grey. Click here for a history of trading posts and the Post at Two Grey Hills.
